Alterations

Make the clothes you own fit

Hems, take-ins, zippers and repairs for everyday clothing, suits and outerwear — measured on you and finished by hand.

Everyday alterations

Small changes, a big difference

Most clothes are cut for an average body that nobody actually has. A good alteration closes that gap — trousers that break at the right spot, a jacket that sits on your shoulders, a dress that skims instead of pulls.

  • Fitted and pinned on you
  • Thread and stitching matched to the original

Alterations FAQ

Before you bring it in

What should I bring to my fitting?

The garment itself, plus the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear with it. For trousers and dresses, shoes make a big difference to the hem length.

Can you keep the original hem on my jeans?

Yes. We can shorten jeans while keeping the original worn hem, so they look untouched.

Can every garment be let out?

Only if there is enough seam allowance. We will check at your fitting and tell you honestly what is possible.
