Why The Lace Art

Made with care, finished by hand

Precise fittings

We measure and pin on you, not on a hanger, so the result fits the way you move.

Hand-finished

Invisible hems, neat seams and pressed edges — the details that make alterations disappear.

Honest quotes

You will know the work, the price and the ready date before we make a single stitch.

Delicate fabrics

Lace, silk, chiffon, beading and sequins handled with the patience they need.

A few things clients often ask before their first visit.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes — we work by appointment so that every fitting has our full attention. Send us a message and we will find a time that suits you.

How much will my alteration cost?

Every garment is different, so we quote after seeing it at your fitting. You will always know the price before any work begins.

How long does it take?

It depends on the work and the time of year. We will give you a ready date at your fitting, and we always try to work around your event.

Do you work on wedding dresses?
